Obama VP 411

Barack Obama's presidential campaign sent an email to supporters Sunday asking if they want to "be the first to know" who he chooses to be his VP via email or text message.

To get the message the campaign is asking supporters to fill out an email application with the relevant info. This is smart. Surely, this info will be used for donation solicitations and Election Day GOTV.

Update: tdavisjr notes this email only went out to supporters who are already planning to vote for Obama. I should have noted the email application also included a forward to a friend option to net additional sign ups.
