Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison has been rumored as a potential vice presidential pick for John McCain but she might have blown her shot last night when she voted against the one-year ban on earmarks

fiercely supported by a small contingent of fiscal hawks that includes the Arizona senator.
