Professor Clinton?

A source told the New York Daily News that Hillary Clinton is considering returning to academia at Columbia University.

Clinton is a former criminal law professor and taught at the University of Arkansas. Multiple sources also reported to the Daily News that Clinton is considering keeping her archives and memoirs at the Ivy League institution as well.

“It's all fluid. It could be a number of things. No decisions have been made, but there are talks,” the source said.

“She's trying to figure out what she wants to do. It could end up with the papers at one place and she has some sort of faculty role at another. She hasn't quite come to a decision.”

It is not uncommon for former politicians to become professors. The former Secretary of State’s predecessor, Condoleezza Rice, is currently a professor at the prestigious Stanford University.

Rice currently holds multiple positions at Stanford. She is the “Denning Professor in Global Business and the Economy at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the Thomas and Barbara Stephenson Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution, and a professor of Political Science at Stanford University.”

The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee's daughter, Chelsea Clinton, is an adjunct professor at Columbia's Mailman Public School of Health. It is unclear to what extent Hillary Clinton would be teaching.
