Why This Texas Teacher Has Triggered Liberals In The Fort Worth Area Over Her Tweets To Trump

A Texas school official might be out of a job for her recent Twitter activity. Georgia Clark was tweeting to President Trump’s account. She thought those exchanges were private, but they weren’t. From screenshots of the tweets, it sounds like Ms. Clark just simply didn’t know how to use Twitter in that regard. She didn’t have a profile picture and she obviously wasn’t informed of the direct messaging function. In that case, your communications would be private. If anyone has seen the film “Chef” with Jon Favreau, you know the guy who directed the Iron Man films, he makes the exact same error, tweeting at a food critic—he plays a “chef” in the film—thinking the smack talk was private, but alas—it wasn’t. Side note: it’s a good movie.

Back to Texas, Clark was tweeting at Trump over illegal immigration. She wants help trying to get the illegal alien students out of her school. She also wants the law enforced in the greater Fort Worth area as well (via WaPo):

Mr. President, Fort Worth Independent School District is loaded with illegal students from Mexico,” Clark wrote May 17 on her now-deleted Twitter account, @Rebecca1939. “Anything you can do to remove the illegals from Fort Worth would be greatly appreciated,” she wrote in another tweet.

Clark was careful in her approach, she believed, and told the president she needed guarantees her identity would be protected when action was taken. “Texas will not protect whistle blowers. The Mexicans refuse to honor our flag,” she wrote.

Clark says she didn’t mean for everyone to see her thoughts and requests on immigration. She says she believed the tweets were private between her and the president.

A district board meeting Tuesday will determine whether Clark will be fired after public comment, district spokesman Clint Bond said.

The inquiry substantiated “inappropriate behavior” in violation of district regulations. Clark was placed on administrative leave with pay on May 29, two days before the last day of school, Bond said.

Clark’s tweets angered parents and others, prompting a response from district superintendent Kent P. Scribner.

“Let me reiterate our commitment that every child in the District is welcome and is to be treated with dignity and respect,” Scribner wrote May 29 on Facebook.

Of course, this was triggering to some folks in the area, as evidenced by the superintendent’s remarks. The Post then drags Clark through the mud, dredging up old incidents and allegations that brought her up on disciplinary action. The narrative is simple here: anyone who supports cracking down on illegal immigration is a racist. The Democrat-media complex is at work.

Frankly, there’s nothing wrong with what Clark said; we do have a border crisis, the Department of Homeland Security is running out of money to detain and process the hordes of migrants trying to bust into our country. Apprehensions have entered the six-figure territory. It’s a problem. We need to enforce our immigration laws. Protecting the borders is a basic function of a nation. Period. I’m a citizen, an emigrant, and a patriot. Oh yes, liberal media, there are plenty of legal aliens and others who are in the queue for citizenship who came here the right way, went through the process, paid the legal fees, and think the way Democrats want to handle immigration is trash. It is total garbage. Enforce our immigration laws, protect our borders, and deport the illegals. Period. Also…Keep America Great.
