At Twitter, Threatening To Kill Someone's Kids Doesn't Violate Their Terms Of Service It Would Seem

Twitter is an odd bird. First, there was the kerfuffle over shadow banning. Now, we have another instance where a prominent conservative’s family is being targeted, but the social media giant thinks that’s not a violation of their terms of service. On Sunday, David Katz lost in a Madden 19 tournament in Jacksonville, Florida, which led him to open fire at the event, killing two people. He committed suicide before police could apprehend him. At least nine others were injured. Of course, the anti-gun Left couldn’t hold their tongue for two seconds. Dana Loesch, the National Rifle Association’s national spokesperson, does what she does best: defend our constitutional rights, which led to this exchange:

Some unhinged person replied to her on Twitter saying, “the only way these people learn is if it affects them directly. So if Dana Loesch has to have their children murdered before she’ll understand, I guess that’s what needs to happen.”

It was reported, and Twitter said it was not a violation. Loesch added that there have been other conservative accounts that have been buried for saying much less.

Silicon Valley is insanely liberal, but they know conservative participation is needed to maximize their profit margins. The stream of bad PR about conservative accounts being targeted isn’t good, and neither is a rather explicit threat towards one’s family over a political disagreement as activity that doesn’t violate their terms of service.

This isn't the first time Loesch and her family have been targeted by the Left. She was forced to move in 2017 due to the threats against her and her family.

UPDATE: Twitter re-reviewed it. They found it in violation. The account has been locked.
