Plot Twist On A Plot Twist: Trump Not Winning Popular Vote, Clinton Still In The Lead

You can blame CNN for this error due to a design flaw, but President-elect Donald J. Trump isn’t on track to win the popular vote. A flurry of excitement poured in earlier this afternoon when the new outlet’s results page had a checkmark next to Trump showing he was the projected winner of the popular vote. That’s apparently not happening; it was a design flaw. Still, Donald Trump will be president and he’s on track to win 306 electoral votes, as soon as Michigan is called.

CNN's Tom Kludt confirmed the error and it's been fixed on the results page.

This is what got a lot of people excited earlier this afternoon.
