Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s latest cringeworthy gaffe came Thursday, when he told a crowd in Iowa that “poor kids are just as bright and talented as white kids.”

“We should challenge students in these schools and have advanced placement programs in these schools,” Biden said. “We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor, you cannot do it. Poor kids are just as bright, just as talented, as white kids."

After some applause from attendees of the Asian & Latino Coalition PAC he added, “wealthy kids, black kids, Asian kids. No, I really mean it, but think how we think about it.”

Trump's re-election team pointed out that the comment shouldn't be considered a gaffe because it's a pattern.
