Trump: I Thought Being President 'Would Be Easier'

With his 100th day in office almost here, President Trump reflected on what the first three months have been like, including how challenging he’s found being commander in chief to be.

"I loved my previous life. I had so many things going," Trump said in an interview with Reuters. "This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier."

He also said getting used to the 24-hour Secret Service protection takes some getting used to.

"You're really into your own little cocoon, because you have such massive protection that you really can't go anywhere," he said, adding that he missed being behind the wheel.

“I like to drive,” he continued. “I can’t drive anymore.”

The president also told Reuters that even though he’s skipping out on this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, he will “absolutely” come next year.
