Trump's Wednesday Morning Tweetstorm: Tax Returns, Snoop Dog, Jobs, and More

President Trump took to Twitter Wednesday morning to comment on a wide range of issues, from Rachel Maddow releasing his tax returns to his travel schedule.

Maddow teased having Trump’s tax returns on Twitter before her show Tuesday evening,

But the two pages from 2005 turned out to be a nothing burger, as Christine reported. Maddow claimed the returns were “handed to” the reporter who gave them to her after turning up “the other day in his mailbox.”

“Does anybody really believe that a reporter, who nobody ever heard of, "went to his mailbox" and found my tax returns? @NBCNews FAKE NEWS!” Trump said Wednesday morning.

He also commented on a music video of rapper Snoop Dogg assassinating a clown version of him.

“Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!”

Regarding his travel schedule, Trump said he will be in Detroit today and Nashville tonight.

“Will be going to Detroit, Michigan (love), today for a big meeting on bringing back car production to State & U.S. Already happening!”

“Looking forward to a big rally in Nashville, Tennessee, tonight. Big crowd of great people expected. Will be fun!”

Finally, he took notice of The Business Roundtable’s CEO Economic Outlook Index released Tuesday, which shows optimism among chief executive officers from some of the largest U.S. companies soaring in the first quarter.

“CEO's most optimistic since 2009. It will only get better as we continue to slash unnecessary regulations and when we begin our big tax cut!”
