Snoop Dogg "Assassinates" A Clown Version of Trump In Latest Music Video

Rapper Snoop Dogg is not a fan of Donald Trump, and in his latest music video, he makes that very clear. The video for the song "Lavender" features a society made out of clowns, and ends with Snoop holding a gun to a thinly-veiled Trump clown figure. When Snoop fires, the gun explodes with a "BANG" flag. Earlier in the video, the Trump clown is also seen smoking a blunt.

The video also provides commentary on police brutality.

*Eyeroll.*

Snoop Dogg has a litany of issues with President Trump, including the fact that he won the presidency. Many of his complaints about Trump, however, are not exclusive to Trump's presidency.

He also runs through his list of grievances with the president: "The ban that this motherf--ker tried to put up; him winning the presidency; police being able to kill motherf--kers and get away with it; people being in jail for weed for 20, 30 years and motherf--kers that’s not black on the streets making money off of it -- but if you got color or ethnicity connected to your name, you’ve been wrongfully accused or locked up for it, and then you watching people not of color position themselves to get millions and billions off of it. It’s a lot of clown sh-t going on that we could just sit and talk on the phone all day about, but it’s a few issues that we really wanted to lock into [for the video] like police, the president and just life in general."

Granted, artists have the right to do whatever they want in their music videos, whether that be riding a wrecking ball while nude or not even appear at all. But shooting the president? Really? How #edgy does one need to be to remain relevant? There'd be mass outrage if a conservative artist did this to a Democratic president--and rightfully so. This is just terribly out of line.
