Trump Hangs Photo of Inauguration Crowd in Press Hall

President Trump tweeted out a photo of a picture that he says will hang in the White House press hall.

The image, taken by Abbas Shirmohammadi, is from Inauguration Day and shows a panoramic view of the size of the crowd.

There is a problem with the picture, however. The date on the bottom incorrectly states it was January 21 instead of January 20.

Trump has accused the media of underreporting on the number of people to attend his inauguration ceremony.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said the crowd size was “the largest audience to witness an inauguration, period. Both in person and around the globe.”

But the media challenged that claim, pointing to metro ridership and photos showing large, empty spaces in the crowd.
