Rubio to Enter Senate Race This Week?

"The Florida senator is telling top supporters he has changed his mind -- and will run for re-election to the Senate," said CNN's Chief National Correspondent JohnKing. "This change of heart will be a boost to Republican hopes of holding their Senate majority after a tough couple of weeks."

Rubio insisted he was leaving Washington after his failed presidential bid, but with Republicans worried Donald Trump may bring down some Senate incumbents—and the fact that Florida is ranked No. 3 on the Washington Post’s list of Senate seats most likely to change parties in November—the pressure from colleagues to run for reelection may have worked, it seems.

Stay tuned for updates.
