Trump: I'm 'Changing' My Position on Immigrant Visas

Donald Trump saying one thing in one place and another in a different place has been a common theme during the election cycle. The issue of immigrant visas for highly skilled workers is one such example. Trump first held the position that these visas would decimate American workers, but later spoke in favor of them at a CNBC debate.

At the Fox News GOP debate on Thursday evening, moderator Megyn Kelly wanted to know which position he ultimately supported.

“I’m changing it, and I’m softening the position because we need to have talented people in this country," Trump said.

"We need highly-skilled people in this country," he added. "For that purpose, we absolutely have to be able to keep the brainpower in this country."
