Obama's "Short" SOTU Address Was Actually 16th Longest Since 1966

We all know by now that Professor President Obama is longwinded, and loves to hear himself talk. But he made a promise Tuesday night at his final State of the Union address that he was “going to try to make it a little shorter.” While he did succeed in making it slightly shorter than his last address, it still ended up being the 16th longest SOTU address since 1966, clocking in at 58 minutes and 40 seconds.
