We all know by now that
Professor President Obama is longwinded, and loves to hear himself talk. But he made a promise Tuesday night at his final State of the Union address that he was “going to try to make it a little shorter.” While he did succeed in making it slightly shorter than his last address, it still ended up being the 16th longest SOTU address since 1966, clocking in at 58 minutes and 40 seconds.
The Washington Post crunched the numbers, and here’s a look at who spoke for even longer.
Guess last night could’ve been worse.
