Former FBI Director James Comey responded on Twitter Friday to the release by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee of a memo that details the FBI allegedly committing surveillance abuses during the 2016 election.
“That’s it?” Comey tweeted, calling the document “Dishonest and misleading.”
That’s it? Dishonest and misleading memo wrecked the House intel committee, destroyed trust with Intelligence Community, damaged relationship with FISA court, and inexcusably exposed classified investigation of an American citizen. For what? DOJ & FBI must keep doing their jobs.

According to the memo, the FBI used the infamous, unverified Fusion GPS dossier to obtain a FISA warrant against members of the Trump campaign, including former foreign policy advisor Carter Page.
The memo also names Comey as having signed three FISA applications for the surveillance of Page.
Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee also slammed the memo Friday, claiming it mischaracterizes information and lacks context.
