Old White MSNBC Anchor Calls Rubio, Cruz "Cuban Nationals or Whatever"

During a panel discussion last night on MSNBC, anchor Chris Matthews openly questioned whether Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio count as Hispanic and called them "Cuban nationals, or whatever."

Ken Shepherd over at MRC grabbed the video:

"I'm not sure the right word is Hispanic for them, because they are Cuban nationals or whatever, or come from Cuba."

So the left has moved from, "Republicans are a party of racist, old white dudes," to arguing the Republican Hispanics running for President are a) not really Hispanic b) "Cuban nationals or whatever."
