Given my dark mood earlier, I owe you a pick-me-up. And that pick-me-up comes in the form of the most ridiculous display of tic-tac-toe and basketball ineptitude you'll ever see. The NBA's Portland Trailblazers' in-game entertainment lineup included a contest in which two fans competed to win a tic-tac-toe battle, wherein each contestant would receive an 'X' or 'O' upon making a layup. The two participants proved themselves to be quite bad at basketball -- and much worse at the simple 'three-in-a-row' kids' game. The best part of this clip is the emcee's astonished reactions as each woman made increasingly absurd decisions. This is edited down, so the real-time experience must have been painful:
