Fresh off House Democrats' breathtakingly ~~tone deaf~~ awesome vote of confidence in Nancy Pelosi's leadership, the DCCC is encouraging supporters to write thank-you notes to the outgoing Speaker:

In four short years, Speaker Pelosi achieved many of the greatest progressive legislative accomplishments of our time, including Health Care Reform, Student Loan Reform, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, Credit Card Reform, and Wall Street Reform among others.

Being the grateful type, I decided to take them up on their suggestion. Given the limited space, I made my love letter succinct:

Thanks, Nancy, for ignoring the will of the people, pushing an wildly unpopular agenda, lying about the CIA, and guaranteeing a massive Republican victory in 2010. We couldn't have done it without you! Sorry about the whole chartered plane thing going away, though. Cheers, Guy
