Shooting at STEM School Near Denver

At least one student has died as a result of the shooting.

According to local news agencies, the shooter has been identified.

According to Douglas County Sheriff, at least 8 students were injured during the shooting. 

Officers believe the shooters were juveniles but are unsure if they were students at the school.

At least seven are injured.

Two people have been injured in a shooting at the STEM School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has been tweeting updates on the situation.

The charter school in Highlands Ranch is only 8 miles from Columbine High School, where one of the country's worst mass shootings occurred over 20 years ago.
