President Trump spoke with Russian president Vladimir Putin Friday morning on a range of issues for over an hour. The Robert Mueller investigation was mentioned, but only "very briefly," according Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

In his final report on whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election, Mueller concluded there was no evidence to prove the claim. It is still destined to be a hot button issue in Washington for a long time, however, considering how this week's congressional hearings with Attorney General William Barr went.

Other topics of discussion between the two leaders this morning included North Korea and nuclear agreements and the crisis in Venezuela.

It was, Sanders said, a "positive" conversation.

Democrats in Congress, however, think differently.
