President Trump announced on Wednesday that the U.S. will ground all Boeing 737 Max 8 and Max 9 planes in the wake of Sunday's Ethiopian Airlines tragedy, which killed all 157 people on board. The emergency order comes after several other nations grounded the aircrafts as well.

After his announcement, Trump called Boeing a "great company" which he knows is working hard. He hopes they'll "very quickly come up with an answer."

Boeing, along with the FAA and NTSB, agreed with the president's decision.

Airlines said they will work with the FAA to improve safety.

The Ethiopian Airlines flight bound for Nairobi, Kenya on Sunday crashed just six minutes after takeoff. The dead included citizens of more than 30 countries, including eight Americans.
