True to his word, Trump associate Roger Stone pled not guilty to seven counts at his arraignment hearing on Tuesday in Washington, D.C. He is charged, in part, with lying to Congress and witness tampering. He was arrested last week as part of the special counsel investigation on Russian collusion.
Stone said the FBI engaged in "Gestapo" tactics when they raided his house on Friday. There was no need to "terrorize" his family, he said, because he would have voluntarily cooperated. He also denied that he had "destroyed" any evidence.
Roger Stone argues the FBI didn't need to be so tough on him because he's merely charged with "nonviolent process crimes."

RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel responded on Fox News Tuesday, wondering when the Mueller investigation was finally going to end. As she noted, the charges against Stone are "process" charges.
"Are we just searching for a crime?" she asked. "Let's say once and for all there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia."
