Kavanaugh Accuser's Attorney: She Can Testify and Provide Polygraph Results

Attorney Debra Katz's client Christine Blasey Ford is willing to testify in public to the Senate Judiciary Committee about how Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh reportedly sexually assaulted her in high school, the lawyer revealed on CNN.

"The answer is yes," Katz said, adding she is also ready to submit polygraph test answers.

But, her client has not been asked by any committee members to testify, Katz noted, which is "interesting."

Katz shared some details about the incident during another interview with CBS.

Asked by CNN if he believed there was any truth to Ford's story, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) suggested there may be. For instance, "she can refer to therapist's notes" about the incident, he said.

Ford first came forward to accuse Kavanaugh of assault in July, sending Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) a letter with the allegations. Feinstein did not reveal the letter until last week, when she said she was referring it to the FBI.
