“You Tell Me!”: Sessions Pushes Back at Innuendos from Sen. Wyden Regarding Recusal

The biggest fireworks at Tuesday's Senate Intelligence Committee hearing featuring Attorney General Jeff Sessions (so far), came between him and Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR). The exchange started off courteous enough, with Wyden thanking the attorney general for holding an open hearing.

Yet, things got heated when Wyden began pressing Sessions about reports there were “troublesome” matters related to the attorney general’s recusal from the Russia investigation.

What were those troublesome items? Wyden demanded.

“You tell me!” Sessions responded. “There are none. There are none. I can tell you that for absolute certainty.”

Sessions then rejected the assertion as “secret innuendo.”

Stay tuned for more fireworks as Sessions continues to push back at several Russia-related allegations.
