Orlando authorities are investigating what they're calling a "workplace incident." Multiple casualties are being reported.
OCSO working shooting scene that has stabilized. Multiple fatalities. Situation contained. Sheriff will brief as soon as info is accurate.— OCSO FL News (@OrangeCoSheriff) June 5, 2017
The situation has been contained, according to police.
This attack has occurred about a year after the deadly shooting at Orlando's Pulse night club.
Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings addressed reporters Monday, noting that five people are dead. The shooter reportedly killed himself. Demings has no indication that the suspect, who had a history of "minor" criminal activity, is a member of a terror organization.
“At this point, it is likely a workplace violence incident,” he said.
