Planned Parenthood Trained Employees On How to Identify Undercover Journalists Instead of Sex Traffickers

The pro-life group Live Action, which has done important work in exposing Planned Parenthood’s pro-abortion agenda, has released yet another chilling investigation. In 2011, the group posed as child sex traffickers to gauge Planned Parenthood’s reaction. Instead of reporting the traffickers to the authorities, several facilities took steps to help them get underage girls abortions. Live Action released the footage and, after the backlash, Planned Parenthood promised to retrain its employees on how to report suspected sexual abuse of minors.

Live Action followed up on their report and found that Planned Parenthood used its training resources for a much different reason.

In a conversation with Live Action President Lila Rose, former Planned Parenthood Manager Ramona Treviño shared how the organization covered up sexual abuse. Trevino was prepared to take steps to report sex trafficking, but her request was denied by other Planned Parenthood officials.

“We’re not here to talk about that, Ramona,” she said the officials told her. “We are here to teach you how to identify if you’re being video taped or recorded or entrapped in any way.”

At that moment, Treviño’s “heart sunk” because she realized Planned Parenthood’s main priority was not to protect young girls, but its reputation.

After a series of FOIA requests, Live Action also discovered that Planned Parenthood also failed to report suspected sexual abuse to authorities.

“When confronted with child sex traffickers, Planned Parenthood cared more about protecting its image than protecting children,” Rose said.
