Chris Cillizza's Reddit AMA Went...Not Great

CNN Editor-at-Large Chris Cillizza did an AMA ("Ask Me Anything") session on the website Reddit on Tuesday, and boy, did it not go as planned. Cillizza's AMA was hosted on the subreddit r/Politics.

Cillizza only answered 17 questions over the course of an hour, and at least three of them were from fellow journalists rather than average Reddit users. He ignored the majority of the top-upvoted questions, and instead answered questions mostly pertaining to his background and college life before joining CNN.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Cillizza did not answer any of the numerous questions calling him an insufferable hack or questioning why CNN put so much focus on President Trump during the primary.

He did, however, ask the Washington Post to bring back the Post Scavenger Hunt when asked how he was doing since he left the paper.

While the upvote scores for each response were not listed, Cillizza's overall comment karma score currently stands at -4, meaning that his comments received four more "downvotes" than "upvotes" over the course of the AMA.

The vast majority of Reddit users have positive comment karma, meaning that Cillizza's responses were thoroughly not enjoyed by the r/Politics community. Reddit has a large community of Donald Trump supporters who post at r/The_Donald.

Reddit can be an interesting place and an entertaining place--but this was certainly not a great AMA.
