President George H.W. Bush Has Been Released From The Hospital

Some happy news this Friday: former President George H.W. Bush has been discharged from Methodist Hospital in Houston after battling pneumonia and bronchitis. He was first admitted to the hospital on April 18.

This was Bush's second serious hospital stay of 2017. In January, he spent a few weeks in the hospital--including time in the ICU on a ventilator--with pneumonia and was forced to miss the inauguration.
