Tim Allen Compares Hollywood To "1930s Germany"

Actor Tim Allen sheepishly admitted on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that he attended President Donald Trump's inauguration and joked that being a conservative in Hollywood today was like "'30s Germany,"--meaning that people who do not agree with the popular opinion of the group are outcasts.

Allen attended the inauguration as part of a group to honor veterans and went to the Veterans Ball. He also said that as a comedian, he likes to appeal to both sides of the political spectrum.

Allen has been catching quite a bit of criticism for the comment, with people saying that his comments were completely out of line and inappropriate.
