Each GOP Candidate's Debate Performance Summed Up in One Gif

The second GOP primary debate was held last night in Simi Valley, CA. It was a lively three-hour affair, with some candidates faring far better than others.

In case you couldn't be bothered to watch all three hours, here's a visual as to how each candidate performed, in .gif form.

Now without further ado:

Carly Fiorina:

Carly killed it.

Donald Trump:

This is technically cheating (as it's a gif of Trump from the debate lat night) but Trump displayed the full gamut of emotions and debating skills.

Marco Rubio:

Rubio had a good night last night. Unlike some candidates (see above gif), he came across as being well-spoken, intelligent, and coherent on issues.  He also refused to walk back his anti-Florida State University comments from earlier in the week.

Ben Carson:

Carson did fine last night, but his comments (or lack thereof) on vaccines were certainly head-scratching. Carson is currently polling second in the polls, but his unwillingness to stand up to Trump was troubling.

Jeb Bush:

Bush is dependable, a solid debater, and it feels like he (or his family, at least) has been there for you since childhood. He didn't make as big of a splash as he could have, but he didn't really do anything terribly wrong.

Rand Paul:

While Paul certainly delivered strong points on how the GOP should step back on intervening in the Middle East, his most memorable moment last night came from his defense of marijuana legalization.

Ted Cruz:

I believe Allahpundit said it best when he called Ted Cruz Trump's "differential little sidekick."

Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, Scott Walker, John Kasich:

Let's just say they didn't stand out very much.
