Public Policy Polling Withheld Poll They Did Not Like

On Tuesday, Colorado State Senators Angela Giron and John Morse became the first two senators in Colorado history to be removed from office via recall. The recall efforts began in response to the anti-gun views of the senators. On Wednesday, the left-leaning polling firm Public Policy Polling revealed that they purposefully suppressed their polls about one of the races because they did not believe the results.

We did a poll last weekend in Colorado Senate District 3 and found that voters intended to recall Angela Giron by a 12 point margin, 54/42. In a district that Barack Obama won by almost 20 points I figured there was no way that could be right and made a rare decision not to release the poll. It turns out we should have had more faith in our numbers because she was indeed recalled by 12 points.

I believe @RBpundit sums this up best:

Ridiculous.
