Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) laid into Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) after he criticized Graham's comments about not being a "fair juror" in President Trump's upcoming impeachment trial in the Senate.

"What Lindsey Graham said speaks not of the fairness of the trial or the facts, it speaks of him and it demeans him and it will not go down as a great moment for Lindsey Graham," Schumer told CNN Monday morning.

"The House impeachment Articles are based on hearsay. They also never provided President Trump the opportunity to confront his accuser or meaningful Due Process," Graham said in a series of tweets. "I don’t need a lecture from Democrats on the Constitution after this House debacle, which is being fully embraced by the Senate Democratic leadership."

Graham went on to call out Rep. Joe Cunningham (D-SC) after he came out in support of impeaching Trump.

"We are less than a year away from a presidential election. Rep. Cunningham and his Democratic colleagues in the House think they must take matters into their own hands. It’s very disappointing," he said.

The full House is expected to vote on the two articles of impeachment, abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, on Wednesday.
