During the primaries and the 2016 election, strong opinion slowly started to infect the news. Now, Donald Trump is president, and members of the media are beside themselves. They’ve become blatantly and unapologetically biased - criticizing everything Trump and his administration does, while often turning a blind eye to the Left’s misdoings.
Of course, Trump isn't always an innocent victim, either. Branding the media "fake news" every time they cast him or his administration in an unfavorable light only invites more criticism.
Bottom line: Trump must learn that being president means being under intense scrutiny and accepting that not everyone is going to love everything he does; while the media must learn that being watchdogs doesn’t mean being attack dogs.
