Once again, the malcontents who want to claim that the Trump administration is failing the America First base who helped send President Donald Trump back to the White House are dead wrong about how he is delivering on immigration reform.
The newest evidence of that ever-present reality comes from the whiny children over at the Cato Institute, who revealed that the Trump administration had successfully curbed immigration from Muslim-majority countries by 96 percent since taking office.

The news, which Cato presumably believed would lead to widespread backlash against the Trump administration, was widely celebrated by supporters online.
The better news is that the reform came in the form of legal immigration. It wasn’t preventing border crossings or visa overstays, but denying the visas to enter into the United States outright in the first place.
People like to ignore that this is the biggest win that the Trump administration can make on the immigration front. Illegal border crossings are often the result of human trafficking and lead to abhorrent crimes. That’s terrible and it’s a blessing to both the United States as well as the illegal aliens who would suffer horrible crimes at the hands of the cartels that this has been clamped down on.
Even with shutting the border down entirely, however, illegal aliens are still able to gain entry into the country by overstaying their legal status. When Republicans come into office and prevent aliens from hopping the border, visa overstays become the primary means to illegal aliens to gain the ability to reside in the United States. The data shows that the trend reverses once Democrats regain control of the White House.
By clamping down on legal immigration, especially of that from countries with a religion and culture incompatible with that of the West, the Trump administration is doing far more than what any of the naysayers on social media will ever do to protect the future of this nation.
