That concludes our live blog coverage for night two of the Republican National Convention.
What a night, folks.
I know night one was mixed, but tonight, marque talent, including Sen. Marco Rubio, House Speaker Mike Johnson, WV Gov. Jim Justice, Sen. Ted Cruz, Vivek Ramaswamy, FL Gov. Ron DeSantis, Dr. Ben Carson, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Lara Trump, delivered speeches attacking the Biden agenda and making the case for Donald Trump.
Lara Trump’s speech was especially poignant, where she humanized the former president who has been pervasively maligned by the liberal media.
Her closing speech was the best of the night, making the case for the Trump campaign in ways the previous RNC regime never could. Side note: I think Lara will be elected to office someday. When that is? Who knows, but she has the chops for something on the ballot.
The night also featured speakers who have been victimized by the fentanyl epidemic and the crime crisis that’s spiraled out of control thanks to soft-on-crime antics by elected Democratic lawmakers. One of the speeches included the family of Rachel Morin, who was murdered last August in Maryland by an illegal alien.
We’ll be back for night three. Thanks for following, and we’ll see you tomorrow.
And don't forget, MAGA24 for 60% off Townhall VIP.
Let's WIN this election, folks.
Amen!
Tonight had everything: We had Babydog. We had raw emotion from those crushed by Biden's policies. More unity than Democrats could ever imagine.
A notable theme through even the most heartwrenching of stories from the "everyday Americans" selected by the RNC: the bad, the wrong, and the evil in the world can be turned — instead of as Democrats do, into politics of divisive grievance — into hope, optimism, and light in the worst of times.
Tonight made the "hope and change" Obama campaigned on look like stale circus peanuts...and this was only night two. We still have tomorrow and Thursday culminating in keynotes from JD Vance and Donald Trump, respectively, ahead.
That gavel is like Thor's hammer. My word.

All this giving thanks to the Lord has me so emotional! We indeed could have had a week of mourning if Trump had actually been assassinated...
What a closing speech by Lara Trump, humanizing her father-in-law and dispelling the myths peddled by the liberal media.
She's a massive upgrade from Ronna McDaniel
What an absolute rollercoaster of a night — in the best possible way.
Lara Trump's impersonation of her father-in-law is pretty good

Liz Cheney must be having a stroke right now.
The Bush-McCain-Romney-Ryan days are over, folks
It's Trump's party now
"You may not have liked everything that he tweeted, but you cannot deny that you were better off when Trump was in office!"
AMEN! I've seen people with "Mean Tweets 2024" shirts.
It's also worth reminding that Joe Biden/the White House accounts tweet the meanest nonsense.
Lara Trump is going down the list of Trump accomplishments.
It doesn't take long to blow past Biden's record
NGL I'm particularly excited about the Space Force creation that Lara Trump referenced... We're already hoping my almost 8-year-old daughter will be a part of that!
Trump is a lion
Another Teddy Roosevelt reference?
More that unites us than divides us vibes.

Like Trump himself has indicated, Lara Trump is saying that her speech is different from what she initially prepared. The shooting changed that...
RUBIO: "Together we will not just 'Make America Great Again' — we will make America greater than it has ever been."
GREAT speech by Marco
"Our country has been injured — injured by the bad decisions of weak leaders. Now, bloodied by our wounds, we must stand up and we must fight," says Rubio, illustrating Trump's response to being shot last Saturday.
"Not with violence or destruction but with our voices and our votes," says Rubio. "Fight not against each other but for the hopes and dreams we share in common and make us one. And fight for an America where we are safe from those who want to harm us."
RUBIO: "Putting Americans first must be what this election is about. When President Trump was in the White House, Americans had more money and lower prices. Our borders were secure and our laws were enforced. Iran was broke, the Taliban stopped killing Americans, and Putin didn't invade anyone."
