While most Americans have moved on from the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s worth mentioning that Joe Biden is continuing to let COVID-positive illegal aliens into the U.S, even as he continues to weaponize the virus against Americans' legal foreign travelers.
Internal emails from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed that the Biden Administration has been releasing illegal aliens into the U.S. after they have tested positive for COVID-19. The emails revealed instances of federal government officials dropping off COVID-positive migrants in the state of Arizona, according to a recent report. This news is not shocking. Late last year, it was also reported that the Biden Administration had released tens of thousands of COVID-infected illegal aliens into the U.S.
This report came at the same time as Biden was attempting to force unvaccinated Americans to get the COVID shot or lose their jobs, an effort that was shut down by the Supreme Court. No such vaccination requirement has ever been enforced against aliens illegally crossing our border.
Meanwhile, the White House’s glaring hypocrisy on immigration and public health was once again in the spotlight late last month due to a controversy involving a tennis star. Novak Djokovic, one of the top tennis players in the world, was denied entry into the country to compete in the U.S. Open because he has not taken the COVID-19 vaccine. Pressed on why Djokovic was prohibited from coming to the country while unvaccinated illegal aliens cross the border daily, the White House could not provide a coherent answer.
“It’s not that simple. It’s not like people are just walking across the border,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.

But that’s exactly what’s happening. Thousands and thousands of people are doing just that every single day. According to an analysis from the Federation for American Immigration Reform, nearly five million illegal aliens have crossed the southern border.
Theoretically, Djokovic could have flown to Mexico and simply crossed the border, and he would’ve been allowed to stay in the country and participate in the U.S. Open. Regardless of one’s opinions on the merits of COVID-19 vaccine mandates, we should be able to agree that it’s absurd that a world-class athlete like Djokovic is barred from entering the U.S. over his vaccination status while countless numbers of unvaccinated illegal aliens are coming into the country daily.
The White House's inability to develop a coherent defense for this contradictory policy demonstrates two things. It demonstrates that even this administration has trouble defending the indefensible. It also shows that this administration cares more about using raw political power to remake the country through mass immigration than public health.
The White House’s comments contradict Raul Ortiz, the administration’s Border Patrol chief. Ortiz testified in a deposition last month, as part of a lawsuit filed by the state of Florida against DHS, that the immigration crisis is caused by the administration’s “no consequences” policy towards illegal aliens.
"There is an assumption that if migrant populations are told that there is a potential that they may be released, that, yes, you can see increases,” Ortiz said.
The damning testimony has received little coverage from the corporate media but has laid bare the depravity of Biden’s border policies. This administration knows the border is being flooded because of its policies and is doubling down on them anyway. It’s hard to think of a bigger betrayal of the rule of law by a president in American history.
The Biden Administration has spent the last year seemingly determined to punish everyone who refused to take the COVID-19 vaccine. Everyone, that is, except illegal aliens. Joe Biden clearly prioritizes the convenience of illegal aliens over the well-being of Americans. No issue has proven that reality is quite like COVID-19.
