Ret. Col. Preston McLaughlin, USMC, served for over 27 years, including in Operations Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom. In retirement, he taught national security affairs at The Citadel, U.S. Army War College and Texas A&M University’s Bush School of Government and Public Service.
