If you watched last week’s Democratic National Convention you couldn't help but notice an overwhelming theme that ran throughout “the Joe Show”. The well-produced and heartwarming images of the former Vice-President were front and center, evoking sympathy and admiration for a man who has endured multiple tragedies throughout his half-century career in politics.
But those images were also on display to underscore the belief amongst the overwhelming number of Democrats, who, united only in their disdain for President Trump, believe him to be, at best, morally inept, and at worst, actively evil.
By shining a light on “Saint Joe,” they cast a shadow on the man who currently occupies the Oval Office, a man who is apparently both all-powerful and simultaneously incompetent. A man who CNN would have you believe single-handedly spread the coronavirus from coast to coast, all but ensuring that countless Americans would find themselves unemployed in the economic downturn that followed.
Thankfully, and much to the disappointment of 95% of the media and nearly half of our country, this is not the man I had the honor of serving directly for over 2 and a half years.
It’s a partisan Democrat fantasy, propelled by a salivating press corps and designed to drive an even deeper wedge in our already sharply divided electorate.
Compassionate. Genuine. Relentless in his commitment to improving the lives of the American people. This is the Donald Trump I know. A good father, husband, brother, boss, friend. A man who believes that every American life matters, and treats people accordingly, from members of his Cabinet to the valets and housekeepers who work in the White House residence.

I witnessed Donald Trump’s kindness and generosity on multiple occasions, most of which will never see the light of day. Some of those acts include unprompted calls to loved ones and strangers in need and visits with members of the military and their families.
The Donald Trump I know wakes up every single day and fights for the American people. He has done so for the past four years and will continue to do so as long as he is our Commander in Chief. Despite what the mainstream media would have you believe, his policies are working. Even as we endure the crippling economic fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic, his administration has created 9.3 million new American jobs in the past three months. Notably, under his leadership, African-Americans experienced the lowest unemployment rate in our nation’s history.
And while it is universally believed that the former Vice-President is indeed a good person, Democrats’ hyper-focus on Biden’s character, for me, is a red-flag, and perhaps a red-herring. Are we being asked to vote for a “boy scout”, only to have his high-minded leadership take our country in a wrong and dangerous direction?
By repealing Trump’s tax cuts, a Biden Presidency would hurt 22 million working families, who earn between $50k-$100k per year, wiping out our economic recovery at a time that we can't afford any more losses. What’s equally disturbing is that, amid calls from his party to defund the police, Biden is on record acknowledging that he absolutely supports “re-directing” police funding.
The Donald Trump I know, while imperfect, is a good man. And more importantly, his agenda is based on sound, proven policies, to make and keep our country safer, stronger, and more prosperous for every American.
