You Have Every Reason to Be Angry At Communist China... And the Liberals Defending Them

Tens of thousands of Americans are dead today because of the actions, inactions, lies, and deceptions of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). And you have every reason to be righteously pissed off about it.

Beyond the tragedy of those deaths, our economy, our schools, and our way of life have all been forced to a grinding halt in an effort to fight the enemy China has inflicted upon us and the rest of the world. If you aren't angry, you need to explain yourself.

All current evidence points to the origins of the COVID-19 outbreak to the Wuhan region in China. When the CCP was finally forced to acknowledge the deadly virus and the horrific toll it was taking on its citizens, it said the virus had originated at a "wet market" and was not transmissible from human-to-human contact.

We now know that the CCP knew the exact opposite. It knew the virus was highly contagious and it was transmissible from human-to-human contact, but it lied. The CCP lied to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the entire world.

The Lancet chronicled the spread of this disease and noted that as early as December 1, "a 53-year-old woman who had no known history of exposure to the market, also presented with pneumonia and was hospitalized in the isolation ward" after her husband had contracted the illness.

Had the CCP been open, transparent, and cooperated with the WHO at that time, imagine how we all could have reacted to this virus. But, it lied. It wasn't until late January when the truth was impossible to conceal any longer that the CCP finally acknowledged what was already quite clear.

The CCP lied, it continued to lie and it is still lying. Be pissed.

Sen. Tom Cotton, one of the few elected officials who was raising the alarm about this budding pandemic while the rest of Washington, D.C., was obsessed with the impeachment trial of President Trump, has confirmed that the US government is investigating whether the original claim that the virus originated in a wet market could also be a despicable lie.

"While the Chinese government denies the possibility of a lab leak, its actions tell a different story," Cotton wrote in the Wall Street Journal. "The Chinese military posted its top epidemiologist to the Institute of Virology in January. In February, Chairman Xi Jinping urged swift implementation of new biosafety rules to govern pathogens in laboratory settings. Academic papers about the virus's origins are now subject to prior restraint by the government."

"Thanks to the Chinese coverup, we may never have direct, conclusive evidence — intelligence rarely works that way — but Americans justifiably can use common sense to follow the inherent logic of events to their likely conclusion," the Arkansas Republican concluded.

Yes, you have every reason to be pissed. We all do.

However, if you're main focus in life is to shoot every issue we face through the prism of your hatred of Donald Trump, you are obliged to make excuses for the murderous liars in Beijing and focus your ire, instead, on the president of the United States.

"Why Trump Deserves More Blame for the U.S. Coronavirus Crisis Than the WHO or China," is the latest effort from James D. Walsh at New York Magazine wherein he runs interference for the communist propagandists as well as their puppets at the WHO.

New York Magazine is just the latest in this effort. Sen. Chris Murphy, a Democrat from Connecticut, told Anderson Cooper last week that "the reason that we're in the crisis that we are today is not because of anything that China did." Of course, he went on to foist the blame on President Trump with no real push-back from Mr. Cooper.

Yes, be angry at China, you have every reason to be. But, here in America, we could be working together to defeat this thing and get our country back on its feet despite this evil act that was inflicted upon us. Sadly, we remain so divided we even perceive this virus based on our political affiliations. That's tragic.

Be angry at China, but don't let its liberal apologists in this country off the hook. Be pissed at them too.
