Former President Donald Trump was arraigned for a complete bull**** crime, and the left is getting very upset because, as a legal matter, this is nonsense. My feeling is I don't know why we are exploring this as a legal matter because it's a purely political one. A motion to dismiss should be granted immediately. First of all, they have a briefing schedule that says the president's lawyers are going to file motions in August and get opposition six weeks later – what are with these timelines? I don't operate under those in the civil arena. You file motions when you need to, and you do it fast. How would I handle this case? Well, first, I would handle it with the understanding I am not a lawyer in this case – this is a political thing that you cannot count on ending until it reaches the United States Supreme Court.
