Rev. Joe Young joined the Heroic Media team in February 2012 as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. In his role, Young is responsible for the oversight and implementation of Heroic Media’s strategic initiatives as well as overall operations.
Prior to joining Heroic Media, Young served as the Executive Director of Option Line, Vice President of External Relations for Care Net and Vice President of Ministry Support for Heartbeat International.
His pro-life work is supplemented by strong business administration and public service experience. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served as a deputy sheriff before moving into the private sector. Young’s business experience includes leadership roles in call center management and asset investigations before answering his call to go into full-time ministry. His ministry experience includes short-term missions, international evangelism and serving as a senior pastor. The combination of ministry, business, and public service experience has uniquely equipped Young to effectively serve and communicate the expanding needs and message of the pro-life position.
Young is a graduate of Victory Bible Institute in Tulsa, Okla. and has been active in full-time ministry since 1997. He and his wife, LaJeana, live in Austin, Texas where they actively serve their local church as a Care Pastors.
