Sitting here in God's waiting room, two words, Trump and Kennedy, keep bouncing off the walls. What an interesting alliance. Of course, these men getting together raises many questions. The biggest of those being, “Why?

Ask yourself a few questions.

  1. Do you feel comfortable with the direction our nation is heading?

  2. Do you feel our country is so divided getting back together again is nearly impossible?

  3. Do you feel it is beneficial for our future to reduce the levels of hatred in the country?

  4. Do you feel the mass media has become very biased?

  5. Do you feel the various government agencies are controlled by a political bias rather than being neutral?

  6. Do you feel government agencies have become weaponized politically?

  7. Do you feel that Congress needs to be more effective and doing its job?

  8. Do you think the Constitutional requirement for three branches — Congress, the Supreme Court, and the Presidency — is being abused, undermining the checks and balances over laws affecting our land?

  9. Do you feel our education system is becoming more political daily?

  10. Do you feel our country is in danger of being converted into a socialistic society as opposed to the free one that built us in the first place?

If you answered “yes” to the questions above, you understand the alliance between Trump and Kennedy.

These two men firmly believe that our country, America, comes first and political discussion comes second.

Suppose the guiding principles in our country should be free speech, a free and open press, freedom of religion, the freedom to live as you choose, and the freedom for your children and grandchildren to have a future, rather than a society governed and controlled by an overpowering government. In that case, why these two men have come together becomes extremely clear."

Yes, they have opposing political views; however, they also believe they should be able to have a solid conversation to resolve those differences. This can only be achieved in a free country where free and open debate is encouraged and protected.

Trump and Kennedy are looking toward the future. They want to see a strong America—an America that believes in God, country, community, family, and self, in that order. An America that is not dominated by and totally under the control of one political ideology.

Without that foundation, there will be no reasonable discussion, debate, or open conversation.

Watching Trump and Kennedy come together, we are witnessing two patriots. They may disagree on the issues, but believing their country comes first is the motivation burning inside each man.

Yes, our country has had some difficult times, some of which are, quite frankly, embarrassing and sad. However, in the past, we have lived and built on the foundation laid by our forefathers, a freedom no one else in the world has experienced. America is, as President Ronald Reagan said, “A shining city upon a hill.”

A good house is built on a solid foundation. Our country has that foundation. In addition, the house being built on that foundation must use good timber. The patriot carpenters built our house using good timber.

But now the winds are starting to blow. Will our house be strong enough to withstand them? The difficulty is the dark storm clouds and strong winds are coming from within.

These two modern patriots who have joined together to reinforce the good timber are, in effect, protecting and building the future. Without a solid second floor, a third floor can never be built.

History has always been our best teacher if people read and understand it. Over time, many countries have failed at about 200 to 250 years of age. On July 4th, 2024, we celebrated our 245th  birthday.

The big question for all of us is what kind of future we want. The future is not for us in the older generations, as many will have left this earth, including this writer. History teaches what we build is the future for our children and grandchildren."

Trump and Kennedy realize and understand this simple fact. They know our county is at a crucial point.

On Election Day, you're not just voting for a person or a personality. Your vote represents your stance on issues and values. Consider the agendas of the political party you vote for rather than being swayed by appealing but possibly unrealistic promises.

We cannot have a civilized debate about the differing issues if we do not have a country that allows us to do that. Trump and Kennedy's mission is to give us that country.

Trump and Kennedy understand our history and intend to build a better country where everyone is free, the press is fair, streets are safe, businesses are secure, farmers and businessmen thrive, children are educated, the government is owned by the people rather than only a few elites, and everyone stands and places their hands over their hearts to show respect during the National Anthem.

America comes first, and politics comes second. Thank you, Mr. Trump and Mr. Kennedy, for uniting to give us this opportunity.

We, the people, are responsible for determining the future with our vote in November.

Just sayin’.
