Former Congressional aide and The Heritage Foundation staffer, Ortega has written on various topics including: immigration, education and foreign policy. His work has appeared in National Review Online, Breitbart, Daily Caller and The Wall Street Journal. Ortega is a frequently sought out speaker and has appeared on FOX News, MSNBC, Univision, Telemundo and FOX Business, among other outlets.
A native Spanish speaker, Ortega has been providing a conservative perspective to the Hispanic media and has appeared on Univision and Telemundo preaching the gospel of limited government and personal responsibility.
In addition to being a guest on NBC' Meet the Press, Ortega's writings have been linked to the Drudge Report multiple times.
