Let’s Make Fun Of The Gays

There was a time when comedy was free to do or say just about anything as long as it made the audience laugh. Not anymore. The late-night comedy shows are no longer “set-up – the punchline,” they are “complain about the other side – applause line.” They are nightly mini-political conventions so afraid of straying from anything their audience finds agreeable that they’re boring. Same thing with movies and stand-up comedy; they’re all wildly predictable because participants aren’t free, either by fear or choice, to take the ballsy risks that made those professions worthy of admiration. It’s pathetic. But there is one group “free” to mock anyone, say anything, to do whatever they want because they are currently sitting on top of the progressive rights pyramid: the Alphabet Mafia. So, since they can make fun of anyone they want, maybe we should turn the tables and make some fun of “the gays”?

The Alphabet Mafia isn’t united in any way – the LGBTQIA2+ and whatever other group of weirdos decide they deserve a letter and latch onto it – are a disparate group of people with conflicting interests. Like how white liberal media have anointed Al Sharpton and Ben Crump as the official representatives of black people, anyone with a sexual deviation gets a letter and is lumped in with gay people. And let me tell you, gay people aren’t happy about it.

By that, I mean ordinary gay people. Normal gay people don’t have a closet full of assless chaps and sexual appendages in a trunk in their basement; they just want to go about their lives. They probably showed up to some Pride Parades a couple of decades ago but then got disgusted by the grinding and dry-humping of a public orgy they’ve become and stayed away. But just as the Nazis never won a majority of support from the German people, never underestimate the damage a small group of committed militants can do.

The pervert radicals on the left – the activists, teachers, and politicians obsessed with ensuring the removal of genitals from children’s bodies can continue like they get a piece of the action – have no fear of repercussions from their actions because they are the Brownshirts who impose those repercussions on others. Grown adults on the political left would sit by silently, unquestioningly, as their children are given sterilizing drugs and surgical butchering because it gives them bragging rights with their friends, or at least won’t get them outcast from their cocktail party circuit. It’s disgusting.

Then we have the Los Angeles Dodgers. They are a baseball team and, like anything not expressly conservative, an appendage of the Democratic Party. They’ve decided to give an award to the Sister of Perpetual Indulgence – a gay group that exists solely to make fun of Catholicism.

Probably (justifiably) unloved by their parents, likely abused as children, members grind their genitals on each other in public, in front of kids, because it gets them off. Honestly, if you found someone doing their “act” in private in front of your kids what they do in public in front of everyone’s kids, you’d beat them to a bloody pulp. And you’d be justified.

But the reporting on this group has been some of the most child sexual predator-enabling word salads ever tossed. Newsweek described them as “a pro-LGBTQ+ nonprofit in California comprised of an ‘order of queer and trans nuns.’” There are no “queer and trans nuns” like no male nuns. To CBS, they’re “a nonprofit organization that has been fundraising and volunteering for the LGBTQ+ community for over 30 years.” The San Francisco Gate called them a “charitable group of performance artists.” Pravda was harsher in describing Stalin during his lifetime.

They exist to mock Catholics, so does that mean Catholics can make fun of gays? Turnabout is, after all, the fairest of plays. So can we Catholics make a few good-natured AIDS jokes? How about making fun of people who get monkeypox from being a party pin cushion on Fire Island? Can we joke about limp wrists and scream like a girl at seeing a spider?

Why is one group protected from being offended and another isn’t?

I couldn’t care less about these incontinent losers making fun of Catholicism or anything else; I resent the double standard. Of course, the left will tell you it’s because they’re “historically marginalized,” but who cares. We don’t live in the past, and these jackasses are old enough to have been victimized. And even if they were, still, who cares?

They aren’t unique; they aren’t even important. And they aren’t worth protecting. If someone needs to be treated with kid gloves, lest their fragile existence comes crashing down around them, it’s going to happen sooner or later – better to deal with it now. Are people supposed to care more about someone coping with depression based on who they want to have sex with? No thanks. You either care about people, or you don’t. If you only care about specific people, you are the problem you claim to be fighting.

So screw the left, screw the LA Dodgers, and to hell with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. If that upsets their sensibilities, who cares? Call it “performance art,” get an NEA grant, and retire someplace nice with the money.
