Possibly the Worst Person Ever

Everyone knows someone who is just awful – horrible to the people they date or their friends or strangers, the elderly, children, animals, whatever, or some combination of all of them. We usually remove them from our lives as quickly as possible, but sometimes we can’t. Sometimes, no matter how terrible they are you have a friend who still likes them or a family member who still dates them. You don’t seek them out, but you can’t rid yourself of them completely either. I’d imagine that’s how Ana Navarro’s family feels about her.

Navarro is a horrible creature. Honestly, how she lives with herself isn’t that big of a surprise – those people I described above live with themselves without issue. The real question is how anyone else lives with them.

Last week, after the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, Navarro, who hilariously describes herself as a devout Catholic, let her inner CNN show when she expressed outrage over the decision. She said she’s a “Catholic in church,” whatever the hell that means, and presumably a pile of hypnotical human garbage outside church. That last part is required to maintain a CNN contract and to get on The View.

In the course of her rant, Navarro lamented that her parents hadn't aborted her brother because he has special needs and the childless Ana views him as a burden.

As if that weren’t bad enough, she then went on to lament the existence of 2 of her step-grandchildren because they, too, have special needs. She went so far as to imply their parents, her step-children, and others which special needs kids are suicidal because of them. Imagine that family’s 4th of July BBQ. Awkward.

In an attempt to make that family even less uncomfortable, Navarro then went on The View Monday to indirectly defend herself, presumably because she didn’t want to reiterate the horrible things she said since she’d said them on CNN and watcher of The View are stupid people who would not have heard about it. She demanded states where abortions because the baby is going to be special needs won’t be allowed “need to step up and provide” more social services because those kids are such a burden.

First, she said one of the step-grandkids she was lamenting the existence of has “severe autism.” There is no way to tell that before birth, as far as I know. Even if Ana wanted those kids aborted, how would that be done? Doesn’t make any sense.

Second, Navarro was talking about the financial hardship her family went through raising special needs kids. She was born into a wealthy family in Nicaragua and attended elite private schools. What is she talking about?

If she’s talking about the family she married into, her husband is an elderly, wealthy lobbyist. Why is she trying to portray herself as Oliver Twist? The only explanation I can come up with is because she’s a bad person trying to distract from the horrible things she said about her own family members.

Her own brother, for God’s sake. And 2 of her step-grandchildren. What kind of person has those thoughts, let alone says them out loud on national television, or as close to national television CNN gets?

The chunky pundit is still trying to justify her horribleness. Taking to her Twitter account Monday to say, “I don’t care how much some twist or lie about what I say. It’s not going to stop me from calling out the hypocrisy of those banning women from choosing what’s best for them, but not doing a damn thing to help the many more children & families who will need assistance as a result.”

Without realizing it (because she’s stupid), Navarro reiterated what she said – that her family, and other families, would be better off without their special needs members. “Either let women abort their babies because they might have issues OR pay them a bunch of money to raise them” is a pretty sick hostage situation she’s crafted in her head to cover for the fact that she’s probably the worst step-grandparent in the world.

I realize that being a wild hypocrite and total fraud is the key to success for most people in cable new, but how is this worth it? If you’re Ana Navarro’s husband, how do you even bring her to the next family function? How do you look at her? Looking at her wasn’t easy before all this, it only gets more difficult after. She’s possibly the worst person ever, her filling matches the shell, and you’re the one who brought her into the family? Gross.
