There's the old adage about pornography – I don't know how to define it, but I know what it is when I see it. It's amusing, but it's also true. It's in the eye of the beholder, I suppose. But most things aren't, most things shouldn't be, and most things can't be for a society to function. In their fight to bastardize nearly every word we regularly use, Democrats are doing all they can to make sure our society can't function. The latest target is the word "woman."
You'd think something as basic as "woman" would be easy for liberals to understand, after all, they elected Bill Clinton and Joe Biden, both of whom are known for their special, handsy, sniffy relationship with their fairer sex. If they can't fathom that, they were all brought into this world by one. Their mothers, however, probably didn't love them enough, or they're so committed to the left-wing agenda that they are angry they weren't aborted to negate their carbon footprint. Whatever the case, it's pretty clear liberals don't like women.
I'm not talking about specific women – they like Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, and whatever other leftist woman serves their purposes; it's just the rest of them they have no use for.
Judge and soon-to-be Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wasn't able to define the word this week in her confirmation hearing. "I'm not a biologist," Jackson flippantly said. It's a mystery for the ages, what a woman is, and it has eluded Jackson throughout her 51 years. It's odd, considering she is one, and odder still because she was chosen explicitly for that fact, according to Joe Biden, who swore to pick a black woman for the Court. If she's not a woman, she should probably have mentioned that by now.
Curiously, Jackson did allude to the answer when she said she wasn't a biologist. Biology is what makes someone a woman or not – be it physical or on the chromosome level, there are very specific things that make someone a woman. Surprisingly, dumb people didn't revolt over this accidental admission of reality; they didn't have the queen Mazie Hirono, literally the dumbest person in all of government, belch out an admonishment at Jackson the way they had her read one condemning Amy Coney Barrett for using the phrase "sexual preference."
The media, being good dogs gleefully following wherever Democrats put the peanut butter, championed Hirono at the time, but are curiously silent on the obvious transphobia of Judge Jackson. It must be transphobia, right? It can't be fact.
Women no longer exist, according to a lot of the noise that comes out of the left, which makes a lot of the other stuff that comes out of the left seem really weird because it's about how women are victims of men and our evil patriarchy!
Yes, anyone can be a woman simply by declaring it, but women are oppressed or something. Soon, more left-wing "women of the year" lists will have people who need to take special measures to tuck back their biological "front tails" than literal "birthing persons." Men are much better at being women than women, or so it seems.
The term "birthing person" sounds like a joke, and it is, but it's on all of us. So is "bleeder." So it is the fact that the UK is spending money reminding men to get their annual pap smears so as to not offend a rounding error of the population consisting of delusional people insisting everyone else bow to their whims.
The same is true for Democrats here. The Ketanji Brown Jackson hearing and the NCAA women's swimming championships are just the latest examples of how the left is doing all they can to pander to a group of people so small as to not register in any serious population count. But they offer a perfect opportunity to signal virtue, and Democrats love nothing more than that.
So you have to pretend the "chick" at the urinal next to you or the lady sporting wood on the medals podium is a woman, but an Ivy League-educated federal judge is so confused by the very concept of what a woman is that she couldn't even begin to speculate as to what it means to be one. They are wiping out women while congratulating themselves for championing them.
Next time some leftist declares themselves to be a victim of the bogus "pay gap," tell them to identify as a man to get a raise. That may sound dumb, but compared to what comes out of their mouths and academia, there's nowhere to go but up.
