The ‘System’ Is Not Rigged

I don’t know you, but I know you’re probably a white supremacist. I know this because Don Lemon told me so, as did Joy Reid, Chris Cuomo, Jake Tapper, Rachel Maddow, and whatever other left-wing nutjob they’ve given a show or a contributor contract to on CNN or MSNBC. They wouldn’t lie, would they? Of course, they would. Media Democrats have spent years insisting this country is “fundamentally racist,” and founded on that concept, as a matter of fact. It can’t be “fixed” because it is oppressive at its core.

Never mind the fact that these people, none of whom are particularly bright, have made a fortune in this country, regardless of their skin color or gender. Their bank accounts are a testament to the greatness of capitalism and the United States – if they can make it with an IQ smaller than their shoe size, anyone can – and still they hate it.

Their hate is based on a fundamental misunderstanding of the world, this country, and you. If you are a conservative straight white man, you have more in common with a conservative black lesbian than you do with someone like MSNBC personality Chris Hayes. The odds are high you know or work with someone like Hayes. The odds are zero Hayes knows or works with anyone like you.

In the media, unlike the real world, there is a layer of insulation so thick not even radiation can penetrate it. It is from this space where Democratic Party messaging emanates. So when they say things, like “the country is fundamentally racist” and “our system needs to be torn down because of its bias,” there is literally no one in their world who even questions it or points out how, in a great many cases, the life story of the person saying it undercuts the narrative.

It’s just accepted as fact and reported as such. Stories are chosen based on that lie, and those that don’t fit the narrative are ignored. This creates a perverted worldview for their audience.

Everyone faces adversity in their lives, and everyone fails at something. If there was a job you wanted but didn’t get, maybe someone else was more qualified or you interviewed poorly. Thanks to liberalism and Democratic Party political needs, a generation has been raised to believe they didn’t get something they want, not through any fault of their own or because someone was better, but because of their skin color, gender, etc. After a few times of beating your head against what is described as an impassible wall, people will quit trying. That’s logical. It’s also destructive, but destruction is what Democrats need.

They bill themselves as the guardians of the downtrodden and oppressed, but what have they done to help people? You can see the answer to that in cities where they’ve had generational control and conditions have only gotten worse. They no longer make the argument that they can make someone’s life better. They run on claiming Republicans will make life worse. In a lot of these cities, there is no “worse.”

But it works because people have been raised to have self-esteem untethered from accomplishment. Existing, not achievement, is celebrated. Education is horrible but the participation ribbons are plentiful. And respect is demanded, not shown or earned.

What does this mentality bring about? People for whom anything that doesn’t go their way consider themselves to be oppressed. Every interaction with police being about skin color, even if the officer shares it. Maybe, just maybe, you weren’t pulled over because of your irrelevant characteristics. Maybe you were speeding? Maybe you weren’t the victim of society. Maybe you did something illegal? Maybe it wasn’t racism that got you that ticket. Maybe you were just a jerk?

No one wants to face that prospect or admit that probability. Democrat politics absolves people of responsibility for their actions, placing it on “society.” I know plenty of people of every skin hue who no one wants to be around because they’re simply jackasses with an inflated sense of entitlement. I avoid them all, but they’d make perfect MSNBC hosts.

Liberalism and what it instills in people has consequences. The “system” isn’t rigged. It isn’t anything -- it just is. A river is not responsible for someone drowning in it -- it just flows. The “system” doesn’t know any of us exists.

Nine times out of ten in politics, if you want to know who’s “screwing you over,” it’s the person telling you you’re getting screwed.
