The behavior of Democrat supporters is quite reminiscent of the behavior of Palestinian suicide bombers.
Imagine being present in the moments before a suicide bomber sets off his charge on a crowded Tel Aviv street. Before he presses the button and causes death and destruction, you speak with him for a moment.
“Has anyone here done anything bad to you personally?”
“No.”
“Do you know anyone in this crowd?”
“No.”
“Do you know that all of those present are only Jews?”
“No.”
“Do you know that there may be people here who are sympathetic to the Palestinian cause?”
“I don’t care.”
The purpose of terror is to apply violence to a population in order to coerce its political behavior. When an attack occurs, then all citizens begin to reevaluate their options in life. One of my boys told me that on the day after the three empty buses blew up near Tel Aviv recently, cab ridership went up noticeably. The apparent randomness of a terror attack telegraphs that nobody is safe. If Palestinian terrorists would only attack known Likud strongholds and only those vetted as card-carrying Zionists, then the rest of the population could feel comfortable that they were not at risk. As things don’t work that way, a person has to wonder how safe he is on a bus, in a cafe, walking along the sidewalk or going through a mall. And that means that terror is working.
When one looks at the political violence directed towards Tesla, he sees many similar patterns. The first people to buy Tesla cars were often pro-green activists; even AOC showed off her Tesla before she soured on Elon Musk. So when people light Tesla cars on fire or key them to draw swastikas, do they have a clue who the owner is? There is a better than even likelihood that the owner is similar to them: left-leaning, anti-Trump, pro-trans, etc. Let’s have our little chat with a guy who has just poured gasoline on a parked Tesla and is about to set it alight.

“Do you know whose car this is?”
“No.”
“You know, the car is three years old, maybe someone who thinks like you bought it.”
“Since he didn’t sell it, he supports Elon Musk. Musk is a Nazi.”
“I saw Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals in the back seat and a Kamala bumper sticker.”
“I don’t care. This is a Nazi car and I want to get rid of it.”
Elon Musk is obviously no Nazi. He is a unique individual that comes along maybe every 50 or even 100 years. He has built successful companies that have completely changed fields like cars, satellite internet, and space travel. He is the wealthiest man in the world and sleeps on the floor of a federal building as he works to uproot budget waste, fraud, self-dealing, and theft. While every human is unique in his or her qualities and abilities, there are very few who accomplish so much so quickly. Donald Trump was right to say that it’s nearly impossible to set up a car company; Musk did the same and is selling nearly 2 million cars a year. His success with Starlink and other ventures makes one wonder how he can do so much. But he is also a patriot, and everything he has done since he bought Twitter and later joined forces with Donald Trump has been to preserve free speech, make the government more efficient and stave off bankruptcy.
Those on the left don’t care about the facts about Elon Musk. He once waved his hand as dozens of politicians have done before him, and voila, he is a Nazi. He helped Donald Trump get elected, so therefore he is evil; strange that the same people said nothing about Mark Zuckerberg dropping $400 million to get Biden into office. Part of the hatred directed towards Trump and Musk is a result of them formerly being like those who despise them. Trump was quite liberal and cut checks to many Democrats including Hilary Clinton and Chuck Schumer. Musk made it clear that he voted for Joe Biden in 2020 and said that he was apolitical until he realized that he could no longer afford to be. He is not stealing anyone’s money or cutting their Social Security; rather, he is exposing how Washington sent trillions of dollars around the globe to grease the right palms and take care of the right people. The hatred of Elon Musk is not based on reality, just as the hatred of Israel is based on a Palestinian state that never existed.
One can say that there is no comparison between a suicide bomber who sets out to kill civilians and a leftist who disfigures or destroys a Tesla car. And certainly, by outcomes, one would have a valid point. The key issue is how both the bomber and the guy making swastikas on somebody else’s car arrived at their points of action. Both have been brainwashed. The bomber, even if told of all of the Jews and organizations that help Arabs, cannot be bothered by reality; so too, our anti-Musk lowlife. They both need to make their enemies absolute monsters in order to take illegal action that they justify based on the caricature of their enemy that they carry around in their heads. The Jews defeating Arab armies and declaring a state of Israel is no more unusual than the Americans defeating the British to create the United States. Similarly, Elon Musk has undertaken no action that could put him anywhere in the realm of Nazism and his actions are directed towards saving the U.S. money and the nightmare of default and bankruptcy. To be a suicide bomber or a Tesla defacer, one must invent an image of an enemy detached from reality and not let any bit of reality get in the way of decisive action.
Israel too has its brainwashed lefties. I was about to go to the pool for a workout when I saw that the street in front of our house was a parking lot. Hundreds of Binyamin (Bibi) Netanyahu haters shut down Jerusalem traffic for a variety of offenses: not caving to all of Hamas' demands to get the hostages home; restarting the kinetic war in Gaza; and, having the temerity to fire the head of the Shabak, whom he appointed. Like the others, our Israeli lefties have whipped themselves up into a righteous frenzy where no truth can enter. And to finish things off, we were awoken at 4 am by air raid sirens warning of an incoming Houthi missile. They are another deranged bunch, and like Hamas, on the Iranian payroll.
To visit violence on others, one must often create an alternate universe that does not let the truth seep in and weaken one’s resolve. If the anti-Musk crowd knew that his Starlink kept Ukraine in the war, they would have a harder time destroying his Cybertrucks. Don’t let truth get in the way of a good hate.
