if Jeremy Lin had been losing games for the Knicks, and the phrase "chink in the armor" had been applied to the Knicks, that could legitimately be considered a racist pun. However, as he's been winning, and the phrase was applied to HIM, interpreting it as racist doesn't make any sense: "Jeremy Lin has a chink in his armor".... how is that racist? The MSG remark was racist. The "Lin Dynasty" joke probably had Lin himself smiling with pride.
