Guess what. BO is not even trying to solve H&HS. He did not mention it in his speech. In fairness, one of the HC proposals said tu cut Medicare by $500 billion. Problem with that one is it was just an across the board cut with no changes to Medicare coverage.

Clearly, some hard choices will need to be made.

I believe retirement ages will need to be increased for medicare and for Social Security.


People are living longer now (Thanks to health care provided by the provate sector and not government.)

The Debt increased by $6.3 Trillion in same 10 years.

What the hell is your post about. First of all I have no problems with the rules and regulations of my co-op, nor do I have a concern about my monthly maintenance payments. If you actually took time to read and engage your brain you would have understood that my point was I owned a single family home for years. During those years I paid to maintain my home out of my own pocket as it should be. It was my investment and it was up to me to ensure that my windows were caulked and my heat and air system was efficient. It was not the obligation of the other taxpayers to maintain my property just like it was not their right to share in the profits I made because I maintained that home. WOW! I accessed and read both the letter and the KITV interivew, and again, WOW! This great patriot and gentleman expressed beautifully, and rather fittingly, the crux of the Obamas' behaviors vs. their "we are entitled" attitudes.
